เป็นผู้บุกเบิกการดำเนิน ธุรกิจก าร ผลิตบรรจุภัณฑ์ โลหะ ของเมืองไทยมานานกว่า 50 ปี โดยเริ่มก่อตั้งเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2491 ภายใต้ชื่อ "ห้างหุ้นส่วนจำกัด ง่วนฮั่วเฮง" และต่อมาในปี พ.ศ. 2506 ได้มีการ ปรับ เปลี่ยนโครงสร้าง โดยการขยายพื้นที่ และจัดสร้างโรงงานขึ้นใหม่ เพื่อรองรับการเจริญเติบโตของธุรกิจ และได้ทำการเปลี่ยน ชื่อจากเดิมมาเป็น"บริษัท สหธาราวัฒน์ จำกัด" จวบจนทุกวันนี้
